Ada Pajak 3%, Toyota Masih Yakin LCGC Beri Kontribusi Baik

Jakarta – Setelah mendapatkan perlakuan pajak istimewa sejak diluncurkan di Indonesia, LCGC rencananya dikenakan pajak sebesar 3%. Kebijakan LCGC disebut bakal pindah ke program pemerintah yang lain yakni Low Carbon Emission Vehicle (LCEV) seperti Plug-in Hybrid, Electric Vehicle, dan Fuel Cell yang mendapat insentif PPnBM nol persen.

Meskipun demikian, PT Toyota Astra Motor yang ikut bersaing di segmen ini masih cukup yakin dengan eksistensi dan kontribusi LCGC mereka di pasar Indonesia. Mereka pun akan mendukung berbagai kebijakan pemerintah seperti apa hasil pasti dari skema pajak baru itu nantinya.

“Meski nantinya ada peraturan baru, kami percaya LCGC masih bisa berkontribusi cukup baik. Tapi saat ini peraturannya masih draft, jadi kami masih menunggu real regulasinya seperti apa, yang pasti Toyota akan mendukung,” ujar Marketing Director PT Toyota Astra Motor, Anton Jimmi saat ditanyai oleh awak media di kawasan Senayan, Jakarta Pusat, Senin (22/4/2019).

Toyota sendiri tidak terkejut terhadap draft pajak 3% tersebut. Menurut mereka dalam 5 tahun sejak pertama kali ada LCGC mereka sudah cukup tertolong dengan insentif PPnBM 0 %

“Meski pajaknya katanya akan naik, dari 0 persen menjadi 3 persen, tapi kami melihat kami sudah diberi intensif selama lima tahun, kami sangat berterima kasih sekali, mudah-mudahan di next regulasi akan mendapat perhatian yang baik dari pemerintah. Itu challenge, tapi dari Toyota akan terus berusaha memoertahankan LCGC dengan peraturan baru nantinya,” papar Anton.

Anton juga tidak memungkiri popularitas dari LCGC mulai menurun ditambah lagi dengan demam SUV yang terjadi saat ini. Ia mengakui bahwa permintaan LCGC sudah sangat berbeda saat ini dibanding sejak pertama kali diluncurkan.

“Secara pasar memang turun, tapi Agya kan relative normal sejak 2 tahun lalu, kalau Calya kan baru normal sejak akhir tahun lalu. Calya kami launch di 2017, 2018 juga cukup baik di semester 1, baru di semester dua dan sekarang lah yang kami sebut normal demand. Jadi sebenarnya penjualannya gak turun, tapi memang normal demand-nya segitu. Di tahun-tahun awal memang demand-nya tinggi, dan banyak juga digunakan untuk taxi online dan lain-lain, jadi memang demandnya berbeda dari sekarang,” punkas Anton.
